Our Eye Doctors

Dr. Dan Vespa is a University of Waterloo graduate with a BSc and Doctor of Optometry degree (1996). He trained under glaucoma and retinal specialists in Philadelphia. With expertise in LASIK surgery, low vision, and custom contact lenses, including RGP lenses, he worked closely with Dr. Tayfour, Dr. Emara, and Dr. Fiander.

 

As a proud father, Dr. Vespa advocates for child eye exams from 6 months onwards. He actively participates in the Eye See, Eye Learn Program, offering exams and eyewear to junior kindergarten students.

 

An Ontario Association of Optometrists and College of Optometrists member, he maintains a full-scope practice in Tecumseh, Ontario, and speaks both English and Italian.

Dr. Monica Wryk is a graduate of Wayne State University with a Bachelors in Biological Science degree. She holds a Doctor of Optometry degree from the prestigious Illinois College of Optometry.

 

With comprehensive training, including rotations at renowned institutions, Dr. Wryk specializes in optometry, contact lenses, low vision, and geriatrics.

Based in Tecumseh, Ontario, she is a licensed optometrist in both the US and Canada. A valued member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario and the Ontario Association of Optometry, Dr. Wryk is fluent in English, Polish, and Spanish.

Dr. Sarah Karra-Aly completed her undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Food Science at Wayne State University and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree with Summa Cum Laude Honours from the Illinois College of Optometry. She specializes in a variety of eye conditions ranging from glaucoma, dry eye, diabetic eye care, and contact lenses.

 

Some of her clinical rotations include the John Dingell VA Center for Advanced Ocular Disease Management, and the Michigan Eye Institute focusing on pre-op and post-op management. 

 

She’s a licensed Optometrist in Ontario and Michigan. An active member of the OAO, College of Optometrists of Ontario, as well as the AOA. Dr. Sarah Karra-Aly is Lebanese Canadian, born and raised in Windsor Ontario. She is fluent in English, French, and Arabic.
